The History of Tector
It all began in 2006 when Joakim Widell, driven by curiosity and a strong determination, planted his first tobacco seeds. With just 14 plants, he began building a business that today stands as a symbol of quality and craftsmanship.
From Seedling to Experience
Every spring, the team at Tektor Cigars plants Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco seedlings with the utmost precision. When fall arrives, they harvest the leaves and hang them in the barn loft to dry and preserve their natural quality. Afterward, they ferment the leaves to bring out the perfect flavor and aroma. Finally, they select only the very best leaves and skillfully roll each cigar by hand.

During their cigar-rolling sessions, they walk you through every step—from selecting the right tobacco leaves to rolling your own cigar with precision and style.
